Title VI Program & Non-Discrimination Policy

PUBLIC NOTICE OF TITLE VI PROGRAM RIGHTS

Cigno CDL Training & Services gives public notice of its policy to uphold and assure full compliance with the nondiscrimination requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related Federal nondiscrimination authorities.

Title VI and related nondiscrimination authorities stipulate that no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

TITLE VI COMPLAINT PROCEDURE

Any person who believes that they have been subjected to discrimination prohibited by Title VI or related Federal nondiscrimination authorities may file a complaint with Cigno CDL Training & Services.

Complaints must be submitted within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days of the alleged discriminatory act.

Complaints should include:
  1. Name, address, telephone number, and email address of the complainant;
  2. Description of the alleged discriminatory act;
  3. Date and location of the incident;
  4. Names of individuals involved, if known; and
  5. Any supporting documentation or evidence.
Upon receipt of a complaint, Cigno CDL Training & Services will:
  1. Acknowledge receipt of the complaint;
  2. Review the complaint for jurisdiction and completeness;
  3. Conduct an investigation as appropriate;
  4. Prepare a written determination; and
  5. Notify the complainant of the outcome.
